Just open the home page and its at the top ~ 2013 models to DT members........ and the rest of the world! Lots of pics but they didnt make the trip.

Well good for those doo boys. I can see there could be a lot of first model year pains that come along with that summit. Looks more like a walleye fish than before.

Doo & Poo have a new stuff, Cat is offering another warranty year for 2012 owners and fixin new chassis line ooops. What shall we see from Japan at March? If that is something else than new model I have to say next winters market share is going doooown!

I see doo added another acronym for us to remember, BNBP, short for Bold New Body Panels for the most part. They also upgraded the clutches on the 1200 so they don't blow belts quicker than Yamaha guys burn through sliders. The Summit looks cool but I can see a TON of first year issues with that sled. The dootalk guys seem pretty miffed about the rest of the sleds besides the Summit. I thought for sure this was the year that BRP was going to introduce the Quick Change Engine Mounting System so you can swap out Etec engines in under 15 minutes when it blows.

I don't see any issues here... The r-motion will be on its second year and its really just new plastic and and a new skid for mountain. No new engines. Good lineup for this economy if you ask me. I think the only disappointment was everyone was looking for a new 4 stroke motor.

You guys say what you want, but in the last two model years Cat, Doo and Polaris have brought more to the table than YMC. I'm not about to jump ship, but I like what the others are doing. It says something about the markets they're targeting, and that they realize they need to innovate if they want to be players in those markets. YMC seems primarily interested in the trail sled market for now, and that's disappointing for backcountry riders.

As for this year's latest crop of new gadgets, you gotta give Polaris and Doo credit for rolling up their sleeves instead of resting on their laurels. Polaris' new Pro RMK incorporates a lot features already proven by aftermarket accessories makers like skinz, C3 Powersports, and CMX. The engineers at Doo continue to show that they like to think even further outside the box, by coming up with their own suspension designs. I don't know what to think about the new Summit skid, but I really like the subtle changes they've made to introduce storage in front of the handlebars, under the seat, and attachable tunnel accessories. Hey, you can even attach different windshields on the new Doos.

Yamaha is still makes a stellar product, and I'm willing to wait for 2014 to see how Yamaha will answer its customers who are practically begging for new product. But lets not bash Cat, Doo and Polaris for what they ARE doing. ;)!

For 2013 ski-doo has released a "price point" MX-Z 600 carb. Its $6999(or $7699CDN),SC-5,XP chassis. But it has basic shocks and a motor that was once very reliable but now with the EPA regs its a time bomb :o| Should put a dent into Shift 600 and Sno-pro 500 sales.

Seems there is a thread on dootalk giving a pep rally for 2013.Funny they don,t mention what yamaha got up its sleeve for the future.Must be all the 2 stroke fumes :exc: .Lets hope whats under the white tarp is something all new from the tuning forks.
