Hi All -
My Vector may be wrecked and I may consider going to a '14 Nytro to replace it. My buddy has a 2008 RTX, and despite the shocks being revalved to a much softer setting, it still has a punishing ride. It almost seems like it was designed to ride hard and not let the shocks do their thing.
So, my question is, does the single-model, all black 2014 Nytro ride any better than his 2008 RTX?

nytro ride
I just bought a new 2103 Nytro FX..the 2014 FX is identical.
This is my 1st Yamaha. I have test rode several Nytros over the yrs and they all rode like #*$&@.
Didn't even consider them.
I have a couple Nytros in my riding group, one a 2012 RTX and a 2010 XTX.
The RTX was a buckboard, he revalved it and it was a lot better.
This 2013 Nytro FX rides VERY well. The shocks are calibrated better and for typical trail riding cruddy trails they work well. The Nytro is still no luxury cruiser but this version rides firm but reacts well to the stutters and lil junk and still holds up to the rough stuff.
The skid is still not on par with the other oem skids IMO but the front end is very good.
The 2013/14 have alot of other great upgrades that the Nytro was in desparate need of too....
Extroverts, very good hand/thumb warmers and controls, Tuner skis which work great, All clipped Ripsaw2 track also much improved from the Ripsaw unclipped track.
These updates and the smokin noncurrent pricing made the Bytro appealing and came home with me after 30yrs of Polaris 2 strks.
