2014 RS Venture GT Ski Runners

What is the difference between the inside and the outside runner on each ski? Mine are too far worn to see the obvious. I only know one is a round bar the other is a square bar. I assume the difference is the overall length of carbide.

Inside bar has more carbide, outside bar has less carbide. All 4 should be the same length. I am not sure why 1 is round & the other is square. I always thought they came in the same profile, either round or square.

Thanks TrueBlue. Perhaps the previous owner of my sled replaced only half the runners and mixed up manufacturer brands and that is why I have both round and square. Do you think the sled will handle ok for me if all runners were the same? Maybe with 4" of carbide. I am an easy trail rider. Many of the trails here around Three Lakes are on lakes.

You should at least run 6'' on inside & 4'' on outside. More agggressive then 8'' on inside & 6'' on outside. Myself, I would stay with the same profile on all the runners.

I had 4" and 4" on each side of mine, didn't like the way it handled. This year I'm taking out both of the inside 4" and replacing with a 6".
