- Bought a new 05 Vector which I still have
24K miles
The sled is new and I realize I need to break the suspension in before finding the right settings.
I weigh 205 (w/o gear) and the goal is a PLUSH ride. My 2005 Vector has an M10 in it and I'm hoping I can get the LTX to ride almost as good as the M10. The front shocks on the 2005 were also revalved to take the harshness out of the ride. I am open to revalving and respringing the entire sled if I have to. Dealer said that I should like it as is without any major tuning (okey dokey).
So what has everybody done to their late model LTX's to get the plushest ride possible? Front spring setting? There's a couple of adjustments in the rear skid that can be made and if I change something I'll make one change at a time.
I hope to be riding 5 weeks from now.....the season is getting close!!!!

Congratulations on the new sled! I had to have my rear shock revalved by Pioneer to correct the mediocre factory valving. But the valving on your sled is totally different I believe. I don't know if anything will ride as smooth as a properly tuned M10. I would say mine kicks more over medium bumps at medium speeds than an M10. But it is still a great riding machine for sure.
