This deserved a new thread from the 2014 thread.

Could CR's Sled Talk post this morning mean anthing other than the new 2014 Sled will be the Yamaha Viper?

Lower windshield???? The wind shield on that pic is nonexistent as it is.

If that is what comes out, I sure hope it's built to Yamaha's standards. I'm betting a Yamaha loyalist that buys one will not tolerate a new belt for every ride. My buddy has gone through 4 belts in 1,000 miles. He's going back to an Apex

If that sled was built by Yamaha I would buy one. Built by cat?? Nope......

Looks suspiciously like a Cat Photoshopped blue.......

Wow idk how he could go back to driving an apex from a 1100t (assume hes driving) I took my old nytro xtx back for 100 miles and man was i missing the cat its better in so many way except that the nytro can hold a belt forever but what do you get when your running over 250hp 500 miles isn't to bad.

If you guys read the blog CR says quote

"The TY thread on 2014 MY Yamaha has grown to over 55 pages and what a fantastic read for someone who has the complete inside POV. For the record Yamaha did not buy any shares in any of our competitors companies outside of KYB shock absorbers, which is kind of ironic when you consider Skidoo now buys their shocks from Yamaha."

Pretty sure it won't be anything to do with cat
