Does anybody know what the code 17 stands for on a 2015 apex? I can't find it in my manual?

Not sure what you mean by oil counter? But I think it might be the exup valve

ok, some people forget about the oil change counter and or the mileage counter when the fuel light comes on... just making sure.

LOL, you can lump me into that group, Tom. After coming off my 08 Apex and onto an 18 Apex and riding it on our first trip where I hit the 500 mile mark the previous day (did not realize it at the time), the next morning I see Oil and 0001 and began searching for that particular error code only to realize that the newer Apex's will keep track of how many miles you have ridden since either the low fuel or oil change warning indicator came on.

I had this code last weekend on my 15 Apex, it is related to the EXUP system.
ECU is getting an error from either a faulty servo motor connection and/or possibly a broken EXUP cable.
Haven't got into it yet, but this is the code 17 error description per my local dealer.
Cheers.

Yup, as suspected, found broken top cable at the EXUP valve pulley, quick $60+tax, back in business.

Grease the crap out of those cable ends and pins at the valve with copper never seize, I have 19k and have not had a failure. They get greased every oil change.
