2015 viper sr
Was looking to get a little more speed out of my 2015 viper stx. Will a clutch kit get me that with a new belt? If so can you guys get me part numbers so I dont screw it up or point me in the right direction.

Not a perfect answer to that question. Everyone's needs/budgets are different. Lot's of info on clutch kits and belts on the Viper side of the forum. Some providers are advertisers here as well so always good to support them! Do a quick search in the SR Viper Talk section and then you can sort by last post. There will be lots of info.

Oh and check out "free airbox" mod if you want to get that beast free flowing. Goes well with clutching.

I have the big venom clutch kit from thunder products.improved midrange but I dont think top end is any better.usually around 95 mph.even had a sandale exhaust but all that did was make more noise.took it off and sold it.also a lot of people on here have done the airbox mod but I dont know if that is going to give you any more.except for the clutch kit I'm leaving mine stock.corner to corner in the trails I ride its plenty fast enough.im using the gates kevlar belt as the 8jp belt turned my sled black from the dust.good luck.

Well I have read the majority of them and seems like everyone has a different opinion. I'm just looking for some basic things to get a little more out of this sled. So I was thinking a clutch kit. I dont want to spend 1000.00.was just looking for some place to start.

If you seem to be getting "stuck" in the upper 80's then yes a clutch kit will help top end speed. My 14' XTX just wouldn't push past 90mph on a plowed road stock, Tossed in the Big Venom kit and it went from 88mph to 96mph on the same stretch only hours apart. That said, I'm not a top speed guy as most trails around here are pretty skinny and technical, which is really where the Big Venom shines. A lot of people like the "Stingray" kit also along with adding his center spring to help lighten up the front end some, especially the XTX skid (which the 15' STX has).

big venom kit is well worth the money for the performance corner to corner, plus you will not be left out in the cold on set-up as the guys there will set the weights up for your ride by asking you a few questions. And the after the sale advice and support is awesome.

Is there someone on this site that sells them?

The guys at thunder products are a great source for Viper clutch work. Also you should look into taller gearing to help get A little more top speed if that is what your after.
