2 up seat qustion

i have the rtk seat on my viper and its awesome can install and take off in literally 5 seconds. and has nice led tail lights and heated hand grips for the lady. Also I personally like the storage of the trunk because it carries a lot of stuff.

The yamaha seat is 4 bolts you remove then the seat just lifts up and off. Maybe a 10 min job at first but once you have done it a few time closer to 5 min. If your in the states the cat seat is the same as the yamaha one mine came with artic cat instructions. This was nice cause it had a chart for air pressures in the rear shockfir different passenger weights this gives you a starting point to work from

Have the Arcticat version on my Viper as it wasn't available on yamaha accessories catalog and what a pain in the butt to install as you need to remove the rear bumper which is mounted with 30 rivits to the tunnel and the Arcticat version comes with screws not rivits which over time will loosen up. Then you need to bolt the seat in place with 4 bolts and nuts which make it not so easy to add or remove and last they charge you extra to hookup option hand warmers for the passenger...on top of the $130 for the rear bumper and $480 for the seat, if the RTK seat was available at the time I would purchased it in a heartbeat, only the website didn't tell the cost of the RTK seat and cargo setup, but it looks well built and slick styling with storage and rear lights built into it...this one is the seat you should buy hands down

I paid about 550 or so for my rtx seat. Didn't have to take any rivets out or anything all you have to do is drill 4 holes and put the hookup points on the sled that the seat hooks up to. Was gonna do the cat one til I saw it was a lil more of a pain to take on and off. Plus the led tail lights and heated grips are nice

If you plan on adding the Arctic Cat seat I would buy the Yamaha bumper kit, not the Arctic Cat kit. The Yamaha kit comes with rivets not screws like the Cat kit. This is only for the bumper kit, the seat kit still needs to be obtained through Arctic Cat.

I have the yamaha bumper and it came with screws. But if your worried about them coming loose just loctite them

That's odd that yours came with screws, I have a Viper LTX SE that I installed the Yamaha bumper on with rivets and all of the kits we sold and installed at the shop came with the same rivet kit??? I almost ordered the kit from Cat last year because the Yamaha one was on backorder until I heard it was screwed on, so I waited for the Yamaha kit. I had the bumper powder coated black and it all looks factory installed.

That is weird. I had mine painted white to match. Yeah I had to wait for months to get it cause it was back ordered
