Leaning towards snow checking an Apex XTX. I ride exclusively in eastern UP. Probably 50/50 on-trail/off-trail. The 1.75 track looks appealing, however I am worried about lubrication on the hard pack trails and around towns. I leave my sled up there the entire winter so I cannot change sliders mid season and usually ride 2,000-2,500 miles every year. I will put on Duponts before I leave the dealer. Any opinions?

That's what I want to know. I think it should be fine. I'll use scratchers.

- Which one? I have 6
Should be good with the duponts, but I would add some scratchers as well. Cooling in some conditions might be an issue.

TheCamoplast back country track 1.75 has been around for awhile for all brands snowmobile. I don't remember anyone having any problems with it.

Of all the Deltabox sleds we tested in our short exclusive test session, the new Apex X-TX 1.75 LE rode the best in the trails, and this is a long 146-inch SingleShot suspended sled, with a big 1.75-inch lug Backcountry track on it!

I went to the back country 1.75 track this season with DuPonts and the Excell wheels in my xtx, no issues with lubrication on skid track works AWESOME especially for strait line traction and in looser snow conditions the ripsaw is junk. Works better on the hard pack trail than I thought it would, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ON ANY APEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you need to make any adjustments to fit the 1.75 in the tunnel ?
I am figuring you don't use studs in your area .

No all you do is take out the tunnel protectors. And I dot like studs because any time in the past I had them they always break or tear out because I like to drive like a mad man!did you need to make any adjustments to fit the 1.75 in the tunnel ?
