Rode today, TH to the Knotty Pine to the Trestle to Finland and back to TH for a total of 180 miles. Here's what the trails looked like most of the day....But don't tell anybody

I rode today, not north, but the snow is turning brown and the corners were piled up berms (icy inside and wet heavy outside in the curves) Hopefully the cool weather this next week will help reset it up. The clubs will have their work cut out for them grooming this week.

Sun, Tues, Fri have a chance for snow with sub freezing high temps. Mon, Wed, Thur are the 32+ days for Duluth..

Plenty of snow yet by me in Eveleth, and from the sounds of it most people have been staying off the trails as I haven't heard much sled traffic from my house. When this stuff sets up Boondocking will be out of the mix.

The high in Ely was 35 on Friday and 33 Saturday. Trails should be fine.

We decided to ride in your area instead of Cable next weekend do to the temperatures in Cable and snow reports. Good to here we made the right decision. We will be staying in Babbitt at the Junction Inn Wednesday thru Sunday hopefully we can run into you all.
