2016 season report

As of today, my 2016 LTX-LE rolled over 1237 miles.This is on a NEW style engine. Here are some hard numbers so far. Recent checks of fuel use = 15,16.8,15.6 and 14.4 mpg U.S. gallons. The 1237 miles used up 46.4 hours on the clock, avg. speed = 26.6. Top speed on GPS is 92 mph, so far, at 8940 rpm. Sled has a 1.6 IceCobra, air box mod and a BV clutch kit with a Gates carbon belt in the 8dn flavor. Hope the season is not over YET, but the forecast makes me wonder.

16' ltx LE 698 miles 32.7 hours- Fuel usage has been around mid 14's, have seen as high as 15.5. Sled has a 1.6 Cobra, ulmer air box mod, ulmer clutch, ulmer can, 8dn machined 21/41 gearing. Have continued to have to add weight in the clutching every trip. Been bouncing off the rev limiter. I think I have it set now to get a top speed run. Only issue has been a bad battery from the factory and the steering seems to have more and more freeplay every trip. I dont think that the forecast will be a season ender.

Unfortunately it might be time to fire up the atv's ......winter has been a bust in Wisconsin
