2016 stock viper engine

is there anybody who has heard or seen or have one stock 2016 engine that has failed with the bad rods, Where the bad rod is the reason for engine failure?

I have seen several at Ulmers shop they blew up while on the track dyno this was early in the game when the boost controllers were programmed wrong so not sure if over boost or just failed also there have been at least 2 documented on here that never made 100 miles and rods left go

Is there anybody knowing these dealers with the blown engines. Yamaha rep in Norway say they have never heard of this on stock engines not in Norway or anywhere rlse.

There was a post on here where someone found the difference in rods between a good motor and a bad one. I believe it was hurricane. He had pics.

If you are talking stock NA(no turbo) only heard of one saw pics. XC race sled. Who knows real reason why rod went though. Could have been running at 11,000 rpm or could have lost oil at some point in its life. It happens to Nytro,Apex and Phazers anytime they are run after losing oil.

This quistion is only related to stock engines. Not turbo engines.

Non turbo...these engines pass all durability tests that Yamaha passes on all their engines.
