I know you can adjust the ski stance on the Viper to its widest or narrowest position. Mine is currently in the wide position. Has anyone tried the narrow setting? What benefits and or negatives have you found with either setting.
I am considering changing to the narrow setting for boondocking and side hilling but am curious how it will perform and act on trial.
Thanks in advance.

You only have a half inch spacer on each ski, going from 43"- 42" won't make much difference but every bit help's, I can still rail the corners with my 38" mtx stance, but I use the trail to get to the off trail.

It’s such a small amount I’ve found it makes no difference in eithe position. I just keep mine in narrow position. You don’t realize a big change in handling until you go with a actual narrower front end.

I changed mine to the narrow position as I ride rail tracks now and then. I couldn't notice any difference in the handling.
