I'm looking to purchase a new Sidewinder LE. I was just qouted 16600 with a dealer 200.00 credit. I have no idea what is a good deal, but that doesn't seem enough. Let me know what you are seeing. I live in NH and it seems like other areas get better. Thanks for your help.

I don't remember the exact number since I called right after the release but I seem to recall around 15600-15700

Wow big difference. I was thinking 15800 range. I have to call around more.

At this time of year they can do way better that. My buddy just bought the cat version in a 129 track for 11,990

Just ordered mine here in Canada. 19,500. So much less south of the boarder.

There is no sale tax in NH. I didnt push the issue. I'm going to call other dealers and see. If Artic Cat can drop the price so low then Yamaha can do better than 1200 off. I feel the markup is through the roof. We can still buy cars for that price.

My bad my bud got a leftover 19 and your looking at 20.

I found some LE 19s for 15350. So I feel 20s at 16600 is high. There is no rebates on that 19. So the dealer is pricing that. So there has to be more room

$15800 to $15900 was the best I have received that is the Illinois / Wisconsin area

Did that include sales tax?

Not including tax or anything else. I’m going to say about 1500 -2500 off is a good deal. (Model dependent). That would be WITHOUT the 500 accessories credit. Most knock 350 off if you choose not to take it. I called 4 dealers in WI on a 2020 LTX-SE the best I got was 1615 off msrp without 500 credit. That’s from a really good dealer I have been buying from for 10 years. I will say it’s really dependent on the dealer and your relationship with them IMO.
So a LE I’m going to guess around 2500 off MSRP would be a REALLY good deal?

The 2k was without the credit if I could get $2500 off no credit I would buy but looks like I will be riding the Viper next year.

It seems to me that I got SLIGHTLY better deal on my 17 LTX SE. spring order that is. Seems the Yamaha are hard to get a lot knocked off MSRP. At least spring order with 5 year warranty. My 17 came with three years warranty. So maybe that why the 20 spring order seems slightly more in price. Guessing the 5 years of warranty. Either way I’m sticking with the SE as I feel it’s the BEST BANG for your buck. The shock package is not bad at all. Most say you have to have the LE shocks. I ride early and in areas that groom every night. The first Hundred miles I have on in a riding day are flat as a road. SE is way overlooked sled IMO.
