I have the opportunity to buy a 14 Viper LTX with 10K for $2500. I told myself I wouldn't own a Viper after my neighbors experience with his 16 but this sounds like a deal I cannot refuse. I would say condition is below average even with 10K on it. Needs a small panel under the front bumper replaced. Looked like the owner rear ended something. Has some damage underneath near what looks like the oil filter access panel. The rear skid needs some serious reconditioning. Suspension arms are rusty, rails have chipped paint. Needs a bearing on one of the bogeys on the rear axle. Other than that every single bogey wheel has chucks missing and I would replace them all because I am a nut even if they spin fine. Seems to start and run as normal, red spring on the clutch. Maybe aftermarket? Id also guess the Fox Floats need to be rebuilt at that mileage also. I am not so much concerned about the miles as much as condition. The cheapest vipers I see around here are $4000-$4500. Should I buy something I don't need a take a gamble or save my money during these uncertain times?
I am also not sure I want to replace my Apex with a Yamacat. But it is 7 year newer sled with only 1000 miles more on it.

Is the subframe bent that the lower a-arms are attached too? $2500 seems like a deal but I could easily see close to that being spent to bring it up to par. So $5000 for a 14 Viper with 10000mi. That said if buying used parts and you do your own work. You have another sled if you dont get it done right away. Could make a nice project. Have any pics?

Id have to look at the underside again. What turned me away the most originally was how much rust was on the skid. Must have been a open trailer sled.

might be priced that way because of the rust on the skid. heck i cannot even get an 03 rx for that price that has visible rust.
