Found a 14 viper xtx that has a 270 mcx turbo kit, 141 track 2.25 powderclaw,
at a dealer for 15000
my question is is this to much power for a xtx?
90 percent of my riding is playing in fields in deep snow
but want to start making a few mountain trips a year
my ideal sled would be a xtx le with a 190mcx but that would cost 20g here

Get ready to do wheelies! It will be fun.
You can always turn the boost down, you don't have to run 270 all the time.

The mcx are very reliable, as long as the install was done correctly you shouldn't have any issues. I'd say jump on it and have some fun!

Yes I agree, MCX is a very reliable kit when installed properly. Just turn it down a a few lbs if don't want the full 270.

A buddy of mine has a 270 in a mtx. Goes like the wind. Make sure you burn the good stuff in the fuel tank

I got the 270 kit on XTX LE, running 12lbs... plenty of power
