So does this effect the Viper owners as well?
http://cs.amsnow.com/sno/b/sno/archive/2014/08/25/arctic-cat-recalls-2014-and-2015-snowmobiles.aspx
Anyone know any details of the recall? The article is vague.

Fuel can leak from the fuel line assembly, posing a fire hazard. I guess Yamaha Viper owners better be ready for this one as well. Or at least keep your ears open.

I wonder if this was what happened to my viper the clamp at the fuel filter was not crimped and I made it 150 miles before the hose blew off and and soaked the wife and a small thermal event began before I got panels off and through snow on it ! The blown off hose was spraying right on the muffler. But Yamaha made good on all of it the replaced any damage and all new clothes I WAS HAPPY WITH QUICK RESPONSE FROM YAMAHA!
It's been discussed here for weeks and yes it is also for the Vipers. Look down the page a few threads

It's stickies in the Just The Facts Thread. For those who have clamps that are out of spec it sounds like entire fuel line assembly's will be replaced. I don't believe they are available yet. Once they are we will all be getting the letters.

Not being a viper owner, I thought I was bringing new news to the table. I guess you guys have it covered. Sort of funny that Cat was so late to get their recall out.
Glad you were taken care of guys. Good luck with it.
