Gypsy, does the manual have the procedure for adjusting CO?

I know the guy that did this on the sleds that I mentioned. I will ask him how to do it and post it when I know.

Btw, he used the yamaha online service manual when doing this. Would be strange if it's different from the one you have.

Gypsy, the CO levels are emmissions. Car mechanics measure by putting a "sniffer" in the tail pipe. In a car and other closed loop EFI systems, an oxygen sensor in the exhaust collector(after header) senses these levels which tells the ECU. The Phazer doesn't have an oxygen sensor, so maybe(I haven't looked) it has an EGT(exhaust gas temp) sensor, which, as you know from being a pilot, also indicates mixture settings(but only works well when engine and exhaust are at operating temps). "Adjusting CO" is probably a knickname for tweaking cold start "enrichener" settings in the ECU, but that's a guess. Whatever the case, the phazer has no way of using exhaust data when cold, so the enrichener mapping is preset and hopefully adjustable somehow. If no EGT, the EFI mapping is probably preset(relying on coolant temp, throttle position, and maybe manifold pressure data) which means it won't respond well to outside parameter changes.

Hi Gypsy. I just got my Ulmer clutch kit and I was wondering if the manual mentions what the torque values are for the six primary clutch cover plate screws and for the three screw pins that go through the weights.
Thanks.

How did you get the manual ? It looks like it is difficult to buy manuals for 1st year sleds. 2006-models is no problem.

Within Reason, I am willing to help you guys that don't have the service manual.
Within Reason, I am willing to post pictures of the pages as needed by the members here.
Within Reason means that if you are taking your sled apart you should have your own manual.
Well, the lines are open...caller number one you are on the air.... ;)!
I'm on the bum! Sure would like the info changing the oil. What to take apart etc. Thanks in advance, Wilky!! ;)!

Gypsy, I phoned my dealer this afternoon and they sent me the correct info for the oil change. They faxed me the pertinant pages for the job. Thanks, I just got to get the filtre and oil and a box of beer and get R done!
