I went for one last ride today only to have my new attack overheat. The conditions were hard frozen packed trails. With no studs, we just overheated. The worst part was the guy that went with me had a cat 660 with no problems at all. Oh well, still went for a ride with snow on the boards every mile in april.. Rode in speculator new york.

Re: 2-22 Last Ride- Disappionted
at least you have the option of putting snow on the boards,if the cat overheats he's screwed,my dad has a cat 660 and it runs really hot,if it idles too long the gauge goes in the redadirondac blue said:I went for one last ride today only to have my new attack overheat. Yes I changed the antifreeze by addind enough water and there was no snow getting on the exchangers. Touched don't worry, this will happen to you also. I am installing a rear heat x changer and changing the antifreeze.

Just use engine ice. You don't need a rear cooler. With Engine Ice I was able to make close to two passes on grass last fall with my attack without the light or fan coming on.

Just pack the foot boards with snow next time.
I rode in 56 degree weather in April with no problems.
