I have been visiting this site for years, had a few 2 strokes over the years but finally upgraded to a 4. Let's see if I can get a picture on here...

Picture worked fine! That looks like a great Attack, just need some snow now!
Good luck with the sled.

looks like simmons skis as well, at least you have the "ski" issue taken care of.

That is a very sharp sled. You are going to love the motor. I just fired mine up Sat, sure gets the blood flowing!

Looks like a shorty with Hartman rail/tunnel extensions. Either way you'll love the power and quality of the sled. Enjoy!

Dab.... update your profile to indicate your city and state (province).

Thats an awesome sled and welcome to the world of 4 stroke. I too have just made the big switch with few regrets. I moved from Arctic Cat F-Series and the only think I liked in the Cat line was the smooth and comfortable ride. I think Yamaha will get that right in the next generation too. I changed because I was putting on alot of miles (5000+ in the last two years) and was already gettting worried about breaking down with the two strokes due to high mileage. I wanted to get out of 2 Strokes and into a more reliable engine with greater performance......Apex... I was surprized that on open fields, I was beating the AC 1000s and Doo 800s.

Welcome and enjoy.

When's the frikin snow coming?

One more thing. You will quickly get an edge about two stroke smoke.
You will no longer feel like you should have to smell that stuff. If you follow a Cat that smokes bad you will want to pass it. No longer will you get done with a ride and smell like your exhaust was pointing out you going down the trail. It is really pretty nice.
Some poeple like the smell but not me.

My guess is those skis appear to be be white Slydog Powder Hounds....... At least the grab handle appears to be Slydog!

And the sled definitely has a Hartman tunnel extension on there...... either a stretched shorty or an Attak stretched to 144"

I will update my profile now. I used to be signed up on here. Did a lot of visiting on the 2stroke forum but forgot my log in name and password so just resigned up. Yes streched to 144 with 1 1/2. Guy I got it from did a lot of off trail. I myself will be 90% on trail. Haven't decided if I want to stud it yet or not. Sydog ski's, geared down, Ulmer bushings, diffent primary spring, re-enforced "w" are, powdercoated a arms and rails. New boggie wheels and heat grips run in parrallel. The guy I bought it from did all the stuff that I really needed to 4500 miles on it and oh yea re-vavled the shock.

BTW - it's a great sled, think snow :-)

what type of 144x1.5 is it. I hav a 144x15 preditor already studded, but may consider trading for a good 1.5. Nice looking sled. The white skis on green grass really look sharp. LOL Maxdlx

should say I have a 144x1.25 preditor studded

Can't remeber off hand what the track is, I believe it is a camoplast brand but it slips my mind write now. Track is practically brand new and not really interested in taking it off as of yet. I want to ride it for a while and see but I really don't think I am gunna stud that track. To much mass with too long of studs. If I was to stud I would down size to a 1 1/4. And thanks for the compliments. That's the reason I bought it, first thing is get used to the engine brake and all is good from there.
