Looking for 18 sidewinder
how much is everyone paying for this service?
Thanks greatly

My dealer only charged me for the cost of the oil and filter. They WANT to see the sled and check it over for the customer to avoid issues down the road. I would usually just do it myself but they wanted to check it and it was basically free labor.

I was told $360 by a dealer, and they were going to suck the oil out not drain it. Oil and filter and chain case service. No way!

If you take 2 minutes to read my oil change thread and watch my videos, you will see that there is alot of extra oil that can be changed if you take my approach. I wanted to show everyone how a normal oil change is not getting all the oil out.

Many dealers are not in the greatest shape financially these days, and they will certainly do things as quick as possible. I have heard about dealers trying to suck out the oil. In this case they will get VERY little out of the tank since you cannot get a sucker tube down very far at all as shown below. Personally I would only trust myself to work on my sled.

I have read your thread and watched your video's, that's why I was laughing at them as I walked out that dealers door. I only work on my sled also.

Dan, I dont want this to make your head swell, but after reading your 2000 posts I would trust you to work on my sled too!!

Lol
