2007 Yamaha Apex RTX, $ 12800 dollars

147 liters (36.75 gal) of gas, $ 169 dollars

Not burning one drop of injection oil " PRICELESS " LOL

147L = 36.75 US gal / 32.67 Can gal

= 15.95 mpg (US gal) / 17.94 mpg (CAN gal)

Feel good today, my butt is sore and the fingers but I'm considering going some more today. Checked the oil level when I came back and didn't notice any less. Never got passed the whole trip.

thats great. Now go for the iron but award. I do it on my Harley every summer. Its 1000 miles in 24 hours. need to average about 45mph.

Now that is a big day. Were your riding alone?
Bruce

Yes I was alone. Couldn't find anyone to go with me, go figure. lol Had a cell phone and being Sat. the trails were busy. I did leave the spare sled on the trailer and ready to go should the wife have to come and get me but the 4 stroke never even whispered a complaint. I stayed to the busier trails and along highways in case I needed help. I might have pinned the throttle 5 times the whole day and from the start took it easy on the trails. I'm sure that really helped me with the mileage as I usually do a little worse. Didn't have one close call. Enjoyed the day and now feel like I can put her away in a few weeks and be okay with it. lol

nice :Rockon:

I too just got back from a lengthy ride by myself. Yesterday I rode 313.4 miles and decided to get a hotel room instead of trying to ride the 170 miles back home in the dark. Had there been more sled traffic around I would have done it, but considering yesterday I saw only 4 groups of sleds in 313 miles, I figured I would be better off waiting until morning to ride back. Got up this morning and did the 168.8 miles in 3 hours and 53 minutes. The Apex never had so much as a hiccup, and although I didn't calculate the mileage for the trip I would guess I was ride around 15mpg on average. (Best 16.65mpg, worst 14.03mpg) The only downfall of my venture was the fact that I arrived home this morning with a little case of frostbite. Even though I had a neck warmer along with my balaclava somehow my chin still froze, and now I have some discoloration and blistering to show for it. Next time I'll have to slow down a little bit when the temps are below zero.

WISH WE WERE NEIGHBORS MAN. I BEG AND PLEAD TO ALL OF MY BUDDIES AND I RIDE A TON ALONE. STINKS BUT IT BEATS SITTIN AT HOME. PEOPLE SUCK. WHY BUY A SLED AND NOT RIDE IT, ESPECIALLY WITH ALL OF THE SNOW WE HAVE?IMPRESSIVE RUN, DOG.
