Just wondering if there is anyone on this site who is 6'5" and rides an Nytro.

I am looking at putting on bar risers and I am trying to determine the best height for on-trail and off-trail confort. Any suggestions or what height risers are you currently running on your Nytro?

I'll do you one better, I'm 6'6 and ride a Nytro. I have had 2 setups, the one that works is as follows: OFT Steering re-locate kit (had a different kit but switched to OFT, way nicer) Fly Racing post/tube adapter (needed for XTX, MTX and Standerd FX) ROX 4-5.5 adjustable riser and RSI race bend bars.

The OFT kit gets the bars out of your lap and makes controling the sled while under throttle a ton easier, it moves the bars up and further away from the factory position.

The Fly Racing adapter converts the steering post to a t-post tube that allows you to pivot the bars at any angle and allows for more options in risers, I used the Fly Racing adapter because of its low profile, it keeps the pivot point more forward,

ROX riser, I like the adjustable riser so when I'm tired of standing and just want to cruise I dont feel like I'm riding a Orange County Chopper, it adjust quickly and only takes a few seconds at a stop sign or pit stop, though it does require a aditional kit (quick adjust kit)

RSI bars, The reason I changed bars: Reason #1 the XTX has a backcountry bend in the factory bars, this give the setup too much rise and I could not adjust the riser beyond the lowest point.

#2 The bars are much stronger (chrome moly) and a solid 1 1/8 tube in the middle so you dont have to use the adapter for 7/8 bars.

When I get on a stock Nytro after riding mine I cant figure out how I ever rode it stock. I love this setup and wouldn't change a thing, it cost a bit more then just a simple riser but is well worth it in my book.

Total cost is around 5-600 with grips/elements/bars/riser/OFT kit, and Fly adapter.

Stick with the OFT sterring relocator, didn't think it would create a big change in being more comforatable on the nytro chassis but it's a night and day difference and a must if you are over 6'-2". Should have came that way from factory, never liked having the steering bars against my knees during a sharp turn. ;)!

how high are your risers?

What is the height difference between what you have done and stock?

I have never measured the difference, here are some photos of when I did the conversion, you can see where the steering post used to be in conjunction with the dash shroud. The RSI bars just feel so much better, as far as cable length everything is stock other then the e-brake cable witch is a stock cable off a Nytro MTX, it was the only cable that was tight.

the OFT relocator fits on the XTX with no problems, on their website they only have the FX, RTX and MTX listed???

Fixed that. ;)!

And, just as stopdropandroll said, all 08+ Nytros have the same steering post configuration for the relocator, whether it is a flat top post or a pivot type post found on the RTX's.

The QFT is the best relocate out there, oilite bushing and machine aluminum parts are the way to go, i have my 4" riser on with the QFT and i love it much easier to turn when the controls are where they should be.
