Well, I've been a busy boy since I got home from work. Getting ready for a ride on Monday. I installed a front tube bumper with the side tubes from Yamaha. I didn't install the headlight protectors because then it would hide my machines mean "eyes". I installed shock covers all around. Cools ones...black with grey flames. I installed my Dalton clutch which was a piece of cake. I needed a little help from my wife to take the secondary nut off while I squeezed the spring . I needed both hands to do that. I took my front roll bar rack in and had it sprayed with the truck box liner coating to give it the same texture as the other racks. I installed my GPS and hard wired it in. I installed wheel spacers which took about 15 minutes so with the C-5 series wheels and spacers, my quad is about 6" wider than stock. I installed a front lift kit and flipped my rear hubs. Man, this is a tall and wide quad now. Never realized at the time but it won't slide in between my wheel wells of my truck now. I have to slightly drive over them to get it in. I did the exhaust tip modification while I'm waiting for my HMF Quiet Series pipe. I sure hope it gets here fast. Thanks Matt, I got your PM. With that exhaust tip mod, it sure sounds good. I felt my reverse limiter for the first time so I had to run a couple of wires to by-pass that. I zip-tied the shift detent cable so i don't have to hit the rear brakes to shift. I then went over and helped my Dad install a lift on his 450 Foreman. I think that is about it....I took pics of everything and will provide a link sometime after I get back with pics from our ride as well.

Could you elaborate on what you did to not have to push the foot brake to shift into reverse?? I want to get rid of that, BAD!
Thanks

Take the right side panel off and look at the rear brake pedal on the other side of the pivot. You will find a couple of springs attached to it. Slip a tie strap (zip tie) around the actual pivot. Do not tighten tie strap yet. There are two springs. One is for the brake light and the other one is for the shift cable. Remove the one spring and tightly zip tie one end of the spring to the pivot. This will put a permanent pull on the cable and then you can shift freely with no brake.

Almost forgot to tell you guys. I received my Ecosystem HMF exhaust by UPS Friday and installed it on my Grizz. I got screwed by customs. I had to pay another 100.00 before they would give it to me. I couldn't find anyone up here that sells the HMF so had to go state side. Thanks Matt. I bolted it on the Grizz in about 15 mins and fired it up. A little louder than stock. I can't measure db with my ear. I let it warm up and took it for a rip. It was ok but if I remember correctly, my quad was faster before. It seemed to be choking a bit. Puzzled I let it warm up a little more. I took it for another rip. Same thing. mmmmmmm A little disappointed by now. I'm thinking I'll have to jet it but I was told that HMF wants you to run it with the stock jetting first and go from there so I figure the jetting can't be that far off.
My wife sees the look on my face (the blank stare at the gas cap...duhhhhhh) and asks me what's wrong. I don't answer her right away. I reach up and slide the choke off all the way, not just half way and say " Oh nothing Dear. I'm just fine" Just so excited to go I had a blonde moment.

So how did the ECO exhaust work for you after the Blonde moment? :? Could you feel the diff in HP/and where bottom/mid/top
end? I've have Matt getting me one for my Grizz this week - so I'm
hoping you you like it.

I did notice a difference in bottom to mid and top end was not reached. I haven't rode it since but am heading out this weekend to give her a good go. I'll let you guys know after the wheelies and mud holes.

Terry, That stinks about the duties you guys have to pay. I wish we had more control to try helping you guys from getting bent over.
I installed an Eco-System on griggm's Grizz today along with a Dalton Pink secondary spring and new powder coated ITP C series wheels with 25" mud lights. It looks great. Going out now to do some tesing. Will let you know what I find out...BBY

Matt, if you get a chance to snap a pic of my Grizz w/the black c-series you could post a pic along with your findings on the ECO
exhaust and clutch mod. Kind of itching to see what these bad boys
look like on the machine - friday seems along way off - to see them.
Only if it's not too much work on your end. Thanks again
for the great turn around time on getting these mods done!

Marty, I will try and get a decent pic as the bike is loaded on the trailer and tied down along with all your parts in the back of the trailer. Not sure what kind of angle I can get for you. Also, the Pipe does look really cool too. Forgot to mention that. Very nice craftsmanship. Did you see my post titled "Test Results, Eco System"?...BBY
