I'm looking for a good all around tire and I do go on some really bad mud bog trails.I'm going to go with a 27x10x12 on the front and 27x12x12 on the rear of my king quad 700 I'm having a hard time deciding between the ITP Mud Lite XL and the Kenda Bear Claw's.I know the Kenda is probaly a little heavier tire but my quad has a govenor @71mph anyways.Has anyone tried both.Thank's

I vote for the Bearclaws... there's a ton of discussion on this over at Highlifters... just not impressed with the mudlites IMHO

I'm not bashing them at all they do plenty of that over there. I't just seems you might be paying alot for the ITP name and from what alot of people say they wea fast and are prone to punctures. I will say they look awesome and are very beefy compared to Bearclaws, but that's only in the looks department not real-world usage. Anyway, Bearclaws work well, another good tire is Dirt Devil, and if you do a ton of mudding you might want to try gators... all have good trail manners

Personally, I elected not to go with the Mudlites simply because it seemed that everybody and his brother had them and I wanted to try something different.

I got Dirt Devils for my wife's machine and they've proven to be an excellent choice for all-around performance. I'm especially pleased with the ride quality and handling. The only real negative is they tend to plug in deep mud if you don't you keep up wheel speed.

The Mudbugs have been great for their intended purpose, mud. They're not as nice for trail cruising as they vibrate and tend to bounce at speed.

Good luck with whatever you decide and I hope to see you out on the trails. ;)!
