I just did my first one on this machine at 53 hours......4 of the 5 were tighter than spec, and were adjusted...The 5th was spot on. I was not used to the amount of plastic that needed to be removed to do it, but I've been on sport quads up to now so that may be why.
My question is, how often do most of you do the valves on the 660, and when you do, how far are they off spec? Tighter or looser? My old race quads would give me the too loose rattle when they were getting due, but tighter doesn't usually give warning except for hard starting. Curious to get opinions from other 660 owners. :-o

The valves only get tighter and it is usually only the intake valves that need doing? When your bike gets hard to start with the choke that is usually the tell tale sign they need doing. The newer grizzlies I have been told need valve adjustments far less than the earlier grizzlies..........Irv

.10-.15mm on intake and .15-.20mm on exhaust this on my 04 Griz. good luck.
