cobalt - how's the new RTX run against the Viper and SRX in the group? I'm comming off a Viper and also have a Vector, and am really excited about the RTX!

Hey Redline! You will not be disappointed in the performance! I have a few treats in mine but it still has the 22 gear in it so there is still room for more top end, I prefer the holeshot over top-end. I came off a 01 SRX so I know what you are thinking, but don't worry, the RTX pulls extremely hard and I hit 127 on the Dream Meter several times. I'm extremely happy with the performance and the RIDE of this sled!
I did not race the viper but ran a little against Marq on his 01 SRX but he said he wasn't WO the whole time so I'm not sure who would beat who?? It will definitely hold it's own though.

He was overreving and I ended up with leaky o-rings in my cylinders and had to replace a piston when we got back home.
You'll love the mid range throttle response on those sleds.

It is now a week later and I'm realizing how very lucky we were to ride so many miles! I can not imagine how I would be feeling right now had we not been able to ride last weekend. I feel very sorry for all the business owners that need the snow to survive. The money lost by all the businesses must be in the Millions just over the Holidays alone. I think of the resort that we frequent and they have 13 Cabins with a bar and restaurant, they really count on this time of year to make up for the slower seasons. I guess that goes for all businesses that count on perfect weather conditions for their incomes? I really am thinking of heading West for snow, I think a change of pace would be refreshing anyways?

Yep, he was up there too. He was riding his new RTX also. His has the yellow shock covers in the pictures.
I'm sure you're familiar with that SRX that I'm riding. You've raced it a few times haven't you?

I checked the maximum sled site, and it shows a big snow storm from South and North Dakota, Illinois and looks like to the UP...I had a nap which turned out to be a nighter...Woke up around 4am EST, and boy everyone is in bed... ('

Hope to have the old RX-1ton back out...Wind chill was -52 and the temperature up here is -42C dewpoint...We have hardly got any snow for this time of year and that bodes well for our sea-ice. Hope that we get to keep hunting past June this year on it.

The ship brought in some new 4S models, but I do not know if it included the Venture Lite or Multi-Purpose amongst the Phazer variants. Anyhow...23.5 hours of darkness yesterday...Sun to be back beginning of February, but with all of these climatic changes, it may be earlier. Best of luck, hope you guys get to sled this Christmas!
