Hey there I’m relatively new to this site and looking for some help! Have owned this vmax sx 500 for a year now and today it acted up right at the end of my ride. The first thing I noticed is it started idling high at around 4-4500 rpm. So I turned it off and waited a min, started it back up and it did it again. Then as I was loading the sled up it started almost popping which would kind of comes and goes in spurts of 10-15 seconds. Engine now bogs when it runs.
I checked the plugs, replaced the plugs with new ones with no change, both plugs have good spark so I’m kinda left wondering what some of the experts think. I’ll try and post a video.
TIA

It could be a few things. Dirty carbs, bad gas, bad plug caps, stator not producing enough power etc….

clean carbs is a good starting point. could also be an intake boot or crank seal that let go.
