Just got my sled up on the lift and while checking on the RH upper a-arm bolt per the recall, I noticed some for and aft play in the upper a-arm. I am assuming that these are the bushings everybody is talking about wearing out. I only have 500 miles on the sled and there seems to be alot of play in there. Is this a warranty issue?? 8

I replaced mine just today with some oil lite bushings from Ulmer. Only took about 40 minutes and the difference is amazing. The are much tighter with no play. Not unlike your avatar.

How much did those cost you?

Cost me $75 + shipping. Looks like they are more for the XTX.

I wonder how long Ulmers will stay tight, if the stock ones wore out in 500 miles???

Our bushing kits have a 1/4 of the tolerance build up in the bushings as what the stock OEM bushings do. They are also out of a super tough material that is much stronger than the stock plastic material.

I have a stupid question.
Do these need to be greased when installing? The service manual shows these as grease points but since the oilite material is impregnated with lube, is this necessary?
I think in the off season I'm going to take the arms off again and add zerks.

I have +/- 6000 miles on the Ulmer Oil Lite bushings on a 08 RTX. They are still tight without any for or aft play. Well worth the $ and a very simple install. I did put some grease on them mostly to aid with installation, but haven't touched them since. Don't bother with trying to get waranty on the stock ones. You are going to have the same issue again in 500 miles.

My brand new 2010 MTX SE has loose front a arm bushings, been that way since 0 kms. I installed oilite bushings in my RTX and the slop is all gone, going to do the same on my MTX very soon.

I'm having the same problem. Went to the Ulmer site and it shows out of stock.
