I should add my puller is an OTC slide hammer type.Try pulling them with a pilot bearing puller.

Here the auto parts stores have a loan a tool program (you buy, use, return in good condition, money returned). VERY common tool. Last time I had to buy the slide hammer set and then the bearing puller, they were 2 separate tools.
