Removing oilites for Powdercoating...

This winter I installed just the top a arm oilite bushings and this summer I'm going to powder coat my a arms. Can you get the bushings out without breaking them? Or am I going to need to buy new uppers? And tips on this? thanks

Just get them to plug and tape them thats all i did. If they get some powder on them just sand it off. Later.

You think they can live through the oven and the oil won't bake out if the bushings?

I'd remove them I guess if it was me.

They should be fine when I powder coat parts for the race car I keep them in alll the time.

Judging by how tightly they fitted and how slight they are (the uppers) I think they would be damaged for sure during removal.

Remove them. Im having issues with my lower a arm right now. Just save the headache pull them out and replace if you need too.

They should be removed. It's the only way to get a quality job, and if not, there could be oil residue that would seep out and ruin the powder coat during curing.

This is probably the biggest worry I'd have.
