Just got it and its a really fun sled coming from a older back breaking viper.

Its it normal on these to have a little up and down Play or slop in the steering? I know most sleds do have a little left to right slop but how about a little up and down slop?

Mine also has a Full aftermarket dual pipe setup made by XS power or RELENTLESS PERFORMANCE. Full Headers and dual pipes. Sounds really cool but how much power do these specific pipes really add? Are they quality or junk?

I dont have a power commander on it so does the ecu and fuel injection automatically compensate for lack of back pressure?

Link to the pipes http://xs-power.com/yamaha-snowmobile-e ... kits-1.htm

Thanks

- No the steering should be made tight - oft relocator is what most use to fix slop and correct the steering angle

- cheap pipe setup, no idea on quality or hp gains, if any

- the sleds usually handle a pipe by itself ok, if you played with the intake as well then a power commander becomes necessary

- they're gonna want you to fill out your location for forum rules

What can correct up and down play?

not even sure how to address my profile.... WI

The OFT as mentioned will tighten it all up.

And scroll up to the top center of the page and click profile to edit it.

OFT For sure, and call Dave at hurricane racing hell set u up with a air box mod, programmer, and clutching. For the money the gains are amazing.
