I changed all 3. The common one is the fuel relay but the other 2 can fail for the same reason, freezing up. You wouldn't want to loose lights at night or loose your cooling fan.

I need a list here, lol
So far within the next few weeks will be
Spark plugs
Exhaust donuts
driveshaft bearings
oil/filter change
new relay(s)
clutches gone thru/repaired + Hauck Clutch kit
Front end bushing kit ( ? )
Anything else you guys can think of thats a good preventative maintenance fix, or a "since im in there, might as well fix , repair, replace it " fix?
Extroverts sound nice but I think Ill hold off on that until I get a different track.
the oft and the seat seem nice, but I'll wait on that.. Im coming off a 97 sx700, so ATM to me its like comparing a Lexus to a geo metro..
It already has dual runners on it and they seem great..
Limiter straps replaced already
has dupont slides with about 3K miles on them and they still look great
Would like to get a skid plate as I hear they help quite a bit, as well as any other options/accessories that are worth the $$. So where are some good vendors to buy parts ( Port Yamaha I'm guessing is a popular choice, and to buy accessories for the Nytros?

Don't know the answer to that. Your choice, I don't carry one.

This is going to be a dumb question.. But just wondering if I should worry about the clutch.. Seems to rattle quite a bit, and not hearing how a new nytro sounds , I have nothing to go off of..

Pretty much all of them do that. Schmidt bros has a quiet kit that tones them down. I believe its $15. I put it on my sled and the wife's Vector and it made a difference in the amount of noise. You can just live with it as well.

Once its at the shop and the clutches are gone through , and the kit is installed Ill be much happier..
First extras will for sure be a skid plate , probably from MountainTech, and possibly a OFT relocate . Does the relocate make it better/easier to steer while sitting down, trail riding etc?

Replace the stock plastic skid plate and Go with a Mountain tech skid plate. It will save the bottom of your engine and heat exchanger from being damaged from rocks or stumps.

Are the relays the same? Does anyone have a part number on them?

The load relay, fuel, and fan are the same. The headlight relay is different and has no updated relay.

you should check out the thread in FAQ section on the limiter straps. This is a big problem. There are some good solutions to help with the issue.
The pic in your original post put a smile on my face. I had the same 2 sleds. Different years but same color combos. 98 700sx and an 09 xtx )
You'll see them on the HCS home page if you spend any time there. Pic below so you don't have to though
The 700 got parted out after 12k miles. But now i own that black vector int he background.

Haha. My sx700 has taken the beating of a lifetime. But I have replaced pretty much every weak point on this sled. Gonna miss it if it sellsThe pic in your original post put a smile on my face. I had the same 2 sleds. Different years but same color combos. 98 700sx and an 09 xtx )
