After putting my sled on the lift last night to ensure everything was in decent shape before this season begins, I noticed my Limiter Straps... Does anyone know what causes this kind of damage and if there is a fix for this issue? Be sure to check the condition of your straps before you set out on your first ride this season!

You'll probably find something in the FAQ section of this thread, it's a 6 year old issue

I'll try there, I found a couple old discussions on this issue, but nothing really pointed to a concrete solution.

Search KKraus limiter strap fix. Just double up the straps like he did and they'll last a long time. Its a old well known problem. Just one of those things you have to keep a eye on.

Yup, mine weren't quite that bad, but they were coming apart. I doubled them up. It took a buddy to help me get them back on with the skid out. Harder to get the nuts started doubled up.

And one note to add-- this is a condition seen on XTX's not the RTXs. But you can check out the Star Suspension fix for XTXs too.
