My sled is not here right now but after reading all the stuff about the straps, I will check mine as soon as I get to my sled.

- 2021 polaris assault 850,18 sidewinder ltx,14 nitro xtx,06 apex rtx,
my straps are fine but i found something i didnt like at all,the clutches with 200 miles on them are dirtier than my apex after a year of riding,i have the clutches all apart, drive clutch weights are too light at engagement(aluminum rivet in 1st hole),primary spring is a b-s-b,secondary has white spring wound to 70,all this added up is why it takes a good hit of the throttle to get sled going,in some deeper snow the other day i could feel it slipping when i tried not to spin the track on take off,i have the primary spring changed to b-p-b(engagement dropped by about 200rpm) secondary set at 60,its better but still revs too hi at cruising speed for my liking,i have the weights out and will try replacing the aluminum rivets (.85g)with some steel rivets(2.44g),this should help a lot,i softened my clutches on my 06apex,no herky jerky when trying to cruise, better gas mileage and way better belt life,im not sure why the xtx is wound so tight but im sure i dont like it,will report back on changes after i get a chance to test it,performance of stock set up is great if you whack the throttle all the time but when you wanna just ride its too much
