Beautiful! Not a spec of brake/belt dust in sight! I'm sure it will stay that way! Lol!
I wanted to peel the plastic off a xf7000 today at tha AC dealer to have a peak, but I figured it would take too long. Thanks for the pics.

Yes it is. Noticed that first time I saw one. Is wierd tape also. Has a sheen to it. Probably leave it alone and next spring pull the harness which will be a good opportunity to find any long term rub points.

Probably was a little kid...in Mexico. 5 years ago the wiring harnesses for Arctic Cat were made here in Bemidji, MN. Not anymore. The good news is we haven't had any problem with them other than some routing issues during assembly. Check the routing and zip tie at will!rough rider said:That messy looking tape job was never seen on a true yamaha, looks like a little kid wraped up that harness lol

Let's see the LED's. What kind are you putting on? Where are you installing? Picking mine up this weekend and already have ideas.

Other than the bad tape job, everything else seems to be okay. The LEDs are installed and I am getting my HIDs tomorrow. I have the sled stripped and will be putting back together in the next day or so. I will have pics when done with it. BTW, every fricken screw is a torx screw, PITA!!pooner said:Let's see the LED's. Yep, and to make it even better there are multiple thread pitches and driver sizes.
I installed my HID's this evening. You have to pretty much disassemble the entire hood to get enough leverage to reinstall the headlight bulb keeper thingy's, to mount the ballasts (i riveted them on), and secure all the wiring. It took a good 3 hours from start to finish.
I'm not a fan of the Cat hardware/fasteners.
