AC outlet

How many guys out there have installed the AC outlet? And if you have what is the part # for the one for the 09xtx ? Is it a tough job to install it yourself , or would a person have to take it to the dealer? And using the outlet-- does it drain the charging system, when riding, or battery at all? thanks for all the info in advance !!!

Whew! For a sec there, I thought you meant an AC electrical outlet. Sure would be interesting though...imagine hooking up a coffee maker while out on the trails.

purchased 2 one forthextx and one for the phazer, had them both installed in under 1 hour, had to take the shrouds off, on the phazer i had to look at the manual as i had never removed that one before. on the nytro very easy the plug is right there.

If you want to save a few bucks I bought mine at west marine for $18.00 instead of $50. But it's not plug and play. Easy 2 wires to connect.

DC outlet part# 8ET-W8192-00-KT easy to install, plug is vary close to back of outlet when installed, can't miss it. Won't run battery down if sled is running when you have somethig pluged in to it.

How do you hook one up for an 08? they don't have that little white plug...or at least I can't find it.
