Anyone installed it on thier 03-05? How does it work and does it scrub performance?
Thanks

I installed one in my 03 rX-1. You lose zero performance & gain in the holeshot/weight transfer. after turboizing it is just stupid.

Best thing I ever did to my sled, and yes, I have done many.

Just an FYI. I put an M-10 in 2 years ago. Great suspension BUT if I had to do it all over ago I would have went with the Expert-X due to my aggressive riding style. The Expert is built like a tank and can take much more of a beating compared to the M-10. Just my $.02

NY AttakGT is a newbie. I am not sure I know who you are? From what I hear from other M-10 riders, he is correct. You call what you do hard riding? NOT.

The cost is a little overwhelming but can this suspension be mounted into a newer modle if I so choose in the future?

Kinda the reason I'm asking is that I can get an 06 GT suspension for aroung $1k or an AD Boivin for aroung $1600. Witht the other mods I'm doing this year I'm just not sure.

This may help in your decision. My installer is an Expert X distributor and he loves the X. He states that he would not change an 06 GT skid for the X. Eventhough the X is his favorite, the difference is only like 10% better and not enough to make the extra investment. His name is Aaron Excell and he will give you the straight scoop if you want to talk to him.

Works great in my Warrior. I have had m-10 as well. Only thing I had to change was the valving in the shocks to get rid of the slap in the skid. Other than that it has performed well. I have over 5000 mile on it now. Did some mod to skid to make it stronger, only cause I took a hard hit last season. Any other skid would have shattered. All wheels and slidders are from BRP, so basic parts are readillly available.
06 GT skid is good as well if you get the revalved shock and the heavier spring in it. As far as durability my sons skid has gone threw 2 shocks that blew,(warrenty) but aparently they have a fix for it now. We will see this season. We have just over 3000 miles on that sled and still has original slidders. Gone threw two sets of wheels (inside) in the rear skid, but my dealer says there is a fix for that as well. They have new wheels comming soon. Overall if the shock issue is dealt with I think that skid will work great for a wide range of riding styles.
Money wise???????? Its up to you. How much do you want to spend. Personally my first rule in snowmobiling is.......#1 Never count the money.

Ummm, Hemi, contact Custom John. I got mine straight from Boivin and then later found out John could have saved me like $300.00. His web site is: www.customsleds.ca
Tell John that Cubby sent you and that you found him from this forum. He may knock a few more bucks off for ya.................Cubby
And heres a picture of my 121 in my sled.

X is the way to go. I've thought about the comforts of the mono-shock, RA and EC but I'm not 100% sure I'd trust the mono-skid for hard, agressive riding? The EC is nice for moderate trail riding, but IMO: the X is more durable. I've learned to go with durability vs. convenience.
I have to have the shocks re-valved and install the DTR yet, but no broken torque arms, slide rails, or bogey wheels anymore for sure.
You can get crazy on the transfer with them too - Wheelies are fun

Well thanks to all but with all the mods I have done this season and maybe selling next I think I'm done spending money on it. BUT next year I will have a bunch of aftermarket goodies for sale.
