added extra pics to my sled now I have a noise and vibration

I added another 72 pics to my sled for a total of 168 all in the middle. when I finished studding I noticed the track was extremely tight. Why did this happen? I loosened the track and took it out yesterday and its fine till about 40 or so then I get a ratcheting sound and a vibration from the track. is the tension still wrong or did I screw something up?
