Hey guys,
I just ran my upgraded 07 Apex RTX for about 5 miles as a shakedown run and noticed a buzzing noise that was constant from the track area and also hot rubber smell. I did just go through the entire sled which included adding a new fully clipped Cobra track, 128" extension, Wahl Bros anti-ratcheting drivers, anti-stab kit, 4th wheel kit, 187 studs and low snow kit to the skid. Everything is running true and did not notice anything hitting or rubbing where it wasn't supposed to. I'm guessing the rubber smell is related to the track breaking in and the buzzing noise is my drivers making noise but just need ask. Track tension is good too! Wahl Bros did say to break in the drivers for 200 miles but will they get quieter??
thanks!

Check to make sure the track is not rubbing the inside of the tunnel. The drivers should not be as loud after a few hundred miles. Check all of your wheels to make sure a bearing didnt go bad and lock the wheel.

No rubbing anywhere on the tunnel side, only rode the sled 5miles since all of the mods were done and all idlers spin freely. anyone else have noise from adding anti-ratcheting drivers? almost forgot...the only time I could smell the rubber was after it was in my shop, so not very strong and no smoke. just loooking for some reassurance

Rode over 200 miles this weekend and no issues. Hit some nasty bumps, ran it up to 106mph, had a great time! Things are getting a lot quieter too.
