My 2015 Viper has a heated seat. My wife really appreciated riding my sled when the temps were hanging around -14 F when we were riding a few weeks back. So my question would be, is it easy enough to purchase a heated seat kit designed for the 2015 viper and install it on the newer sled? (Which is not a standard option) Is the foam specially cut for the wiring? Can the stator handle the extra load? The kit comes with a new black cover that I do not intend to use, as I like the original seat. Anyone with insight on this project would be a help. Thanks

Yes on all accounts. The ones we've installed we reused the factory cover. No issues.

I guess that I’ll give it a try then. What needs to be done to the foam to allow the wiring and heating element to fit properly? Is it kinda self explanatory once I start the project or are instructions included with the kit? Thanks for your response.

As Cannondale said there's a hole in the foam already. Its a pretty simple install, putting the cover on is the worst part.

Thanks for your input guys. I decided to order the kit and install it when the time allows me to do so. It's definitely a nice feature to have at certain times and I'm sure my wife will not mind it a bit.
