I had a low idle on my Vector, so I asked them to adjust upward when I took it in for the first oil change. (Dealer in Eagle River) Got it back, rode it for a week and now it's too high. (About 2500 RPM) Only drops down when you hit the choke.
Can someone walk me through where on the carbs I can adjust the idle? I think someone mentioned one screw a few weeks ago? Also, what panels do I need to remove to get at the adjustment?

just remove the hood and on the right hand side close to the headlight you will see a black knob, its tricky to set, mine was the same as yours, either too low or too high, not sure what the fix is on this

Mine was low at first but the dealership turned the screw up and they said you want to be around 1500rpms is the magic spot. Mine was at 1000 when I got it.

Pat, which panels do I remove? Left, right, or the one with the ignition switch and accesory switch on it? Where is the adjustment screw located, front, back, and on what cylinder is it attached to?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Take the right side panel off (right side as you are sitting on your sled - it would be the left panel if you are in front of your sled). The idle adjustment cable has a black head on it and is sitting on top of the upper aluminum frame. You can't miss it.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed. Sounds fairly easy for a mechanical geek like me to tinker wth and adjust.
