mine has been broke for like 4 seasons...lol
i guess im lucky that its set where i like it....but since i have my skid out, and the cable removed from shock,it looks like i could use a small screwdriver to insert into the square hole and turn it....not sure how easy this would be to get at when shock is in sled though.
worth a try.

Thats all you have to do, find a small flat screw driver that will fit in the square hole diagonally and turn it in for harder ride and turn it out for softer. You can feel the click just as if you were using the Remote adjuster. To change it, just turn it all the way in and turn your adjuster all the way to hard and replace the cable.

Ohlins Shock too?
Have there been similar problems with the Ohlins electronically-controlled shock on the GT?

No common problems with the GT. There was an update for the 06's to re-position the wires underneath so they didn't pull out of the shock. I have seen the wires pulll apart before from extreme ice build up, and this will show up if your thumb control doesnt work and there are no bars on your screen. Easy fix just by changing the wires underneath with a new harness from Yamaha. As long as it is zipped tied proper and in that metal clip it should be fine.
