I am extremely happy with my Nytro Rtx, except for the front end issues. If someone in the after market would sell a complete kit with stronger A arms including greaseable bushings, and ball joints, I would be the first in line. What does everyone else think ???. I just dont see the pooint in replacing these stock parts that wont stand up with more stock parts !!!

i think the a-arms are plenty strong..the bottom ball joints are another story, since they are a warranty item and i have 3 years warranty i wont spend a penny on them, eventually they will put a better one on..i think the 09's are coming with better ball joints,so when mine wear out again next winter im sure the new ones will be going on

You can brace the a-arms but i'm leaving mine alone. I've bent one upper a-arm and being able to bend an a-arm back into shape is way easier than replacing a sub frame.
I welded my spindles, installed better greasable lower ball joints with zerks, oil lite bushings in the a-arms and a better upper tie rod mount. My front end is extremely tight now. It was a PIA machining everything but hopefully it works. Just waiting to get some miles on it before I decide it's worth the coin. The stock ball joints are junk.

I am planning on making some brass bushings for the arms as well. Can you post some pictures or somthing show the greese zerks etc. Also like the others said what bottom ball joints are you using? I'm having my dealer replace them but they will be the same ones that already wore out.
This being said, I had to do all this same stuff to my rev when I had it. All the race sleds do the same. Its a standard things when you ride the sled to the limits.

Welded spindles, oil lite a-arm bushings, greasable lower ball joints w/ 1/2" axle bolts and stronger tie-rod mounts. The way Yamaha should have shipped them out.
