I finally bought a Yamaha 4 stroke...lol...I actually traded my arctic cat crossfire for a phazer fx last spring...but now...I traded the phazer for a sled that I think better suits me..a 2006 attak. Took it for a short ride at the dealer, before we loaded her up...Very Impressed!!! Pulls like a freight train...can't wait till we get snow here to go for a ride.

I am happy to be back on yamaha after being on ski-doos and arctic cats the last 7 years...my last yami was a viper. Hope this will be a good sled for me ....can't wait for snow !!!!

Hopefully once I get her dialed in, I'll be happy with my decision to go with the attak.

Gotta love the attak!!

Congrats on the purchase. I love my 2007. I hope to be on it this Friday, I leave tomorrow night for a week of riding.

Let me know what you think about the differences in you CF vs. the Attak. I've got the exact same Attak and am thinking about selling it to get a CF 800.
I love my sled but it just can't do what I need it to do. We don't have groomed trail systems here in Fairbanks so I need a true crossover that can handle some bumps without breaking the rear suspension and not sink everytime you get in a little powder.

But in Northern WI where he's from there's more groomed trails than off trail probably.

The Attak is a trail cruiser, not a boondocker, if it's stock that's pretty well decided.

Good luck with the Attak.

Welll my crossfire was an 07, and a 600...quite a difference than what ur looing at...i dont have any real seAt time onthe attak yet.....i can
tell u that how u ride, the crossfire would be excellent
They are very good in powder...but I broke the front arm
on my skid, and blew two shocks...get a sno pro if ur aggressive.

I ride mainly trails, lakes, a few ditches, and forest service roads....
Its very rare when I bust fresh powder...so I think the attak should
Be fine.

No doubt about it, the Attack is a great sled. On the top end the 06 attack would slightly pull ahead of the 06 apex, I believe due to track geometry and less ballooning as compared to the 121. Awesome machine.

I went form an 2002 Viper with over 10,000 miles to a new 2006 Attak. A HUGE difference in ride, power and no more oli to buy! You are gonna love it!

Congatulations, YOU GET IT!!!!!!
You will love that sled as it is in another league that will give you years of fun and reliability. You will also love this site no matter what your question may be as it is the best knowledge - based experience system in the industry. Welcome and enjoy............
