Aftermarket carbides for tuners...?

I looked at tuner skis & ski quality seemd Aok then looked at Yamaha carbides & thought hell no they will never hold up to roads & ditches I have to ride to get to trails much better off sticking with stockers & Bergstrom triple points with skisavers. You guys are proving my gut feelings were correct regarding cheapo Yamaha carbide quality. Happy I stuck with Bergstrom triple points & stock set up. I do think tuners are a good thing but 500 miles & carbides shot you can get 5,000 miles easy on Bergstroms in not so good conditions. I know Bergstrom does make triple points for tuners but no feedback on performance or steering effort from anyone on that set up yet.

The tuner ski carbides form Yamaha are now made by Woody's as posted. I did notice that some sizes have flat carbide wear pads and some have hard weld in addition to the sharpened carbide. Look to be a lot better, beefier than the first Yamaha bars offered.
