In need of some gaskets and seals for my '99 Grizzly that I am rebuilding, and prices from the dealer start to add up real quick. Just wondering if any of you guys have had good luck with aftermarket kits or should I just pay the dealer for their stuff? Thanks for any help.

I get yamaha parts at cost where I work at a yamaha dealer, and I still use cometic sets instead of yamaha. Quality is just as good, if not better and cheaper than yamaha at cost.

go with an aftermarket complete kit. i used the athena gasket kit when i did my 2000 xt350. they all worked really well. for the crank/drive seals on it i went oem yamy ones as i did not find any aftermarket. only thing i was warned was to watch the head gasket as they can be a problem but i have had no problem with mine yet.

Thanks guys. Just ordered a top end set with valve seals off ebay, and will be getting the bottom end stuff from the dealer.
