I am looking for a windshield for our apex,I know i have seen after market windshields on a few mountain sleds but cant seem to find their website. Does anyone know where i can find these?

Thanks,

Does anyone make a windshield that protects your hands from the wind? I have the yamaha mid-height on my apex, and my hands are getting frozen. Do hand gaurds work with the mid-height windshield? Those cobra one's don't look like they protect your hands.

I would rather be warm than look good freezing to death, so the Yamaha extra-tall windshield I use on my Attak GT keeps both my neck and my hands warm in sub zero temps. The brackets do not interfere with anything either.

no, is that suppose to be some kind of joke?!?! If thats a remark wondering why i would want a low windshield, its a matter of preference.

I can understan why he would ask the question. When I ride my GT with the low windshield you are taking a ton of wind directly at your chest. I would think that a higher slanted windshield might cause less wind resistance but I am not an expert on windtunnel testing.

You are correct the shark gt style makes you slower the mid height is the fastest ,atleats for me i cant get out of the wind with the stock gt 1

windsheilds

I have a SNO STUFF version on my Mnt. and it looks awesome. I got the matte black version it almost has a soft rubberized feel to it. Rolled it twice hard and still together. This one has the more defined & higher points, probably the version your talking about...good luck!
