got a few days befor going out again , my sled is working good , was thinking about a airbox mod

is it worth the time to do , drill holes in the top and add filters for cold air

anyone got any advice or links would be good , and your opinions , even on which one to do ,

i don't want to drop allot of money on it , just a simple mod if it's worth doing , or am i wasting my time

thanks

For what it's worth, ulmers failed attempts at making power from a "airbox mod" are on DTR.

When my sled was Hurricane Performance last season, we picked up almost 6hp when we added his air box mod. There were gains down low as well as peak HP gains. Placement of the holes are key to the HP gains as we found out wasting several air boxs before finding one that worked well. Directly over the air horn worked great during our testing. Mach9 has also posted a graph showing 2-3hp gains using the Hauck Lid.
