i have a 14 LTX. I had a bikeman can on it. I’m going to do the air box
Mod and do a big venom clutch kit and stud it this spring. I’m curious to what people think about the EVO 2.5 tune? Is it needed with this set up? Is it actually worth $500?

I have a PCV and Ignition Module, these together cost about the same as a tune, but you are able to continue to adjust without additional spending.

Sorry, I did not answer your question. You will want to tune for more rpm, better starting, optimal fueling/timing, etc.

I have a 14' LTX with the Bikeman can, free airbox mod and Ulmer clutch kit with the EVO 2.5 tune. It woke up the low end and mid range quite a bit, maybe a slight difference in top end but not much. I'm topping out in the low 90's consistently, seen 101 mph once in perfect conditions. The higher RPM for the rev limiter is real nice, i no longer hit the rev limiter at all and my max RPM is around 9650. The thought i had was if your doing the can and airbox to get the max benefit for it, it needs a tune or your money is for nothing really. I just wanted a reliable sled to get on and go, no tuning or messing around, the season is too short here, being i don't plan to sell my sled anytime soon it was worth the money for me and i will get my use out of it. I would say worth the money for sure.

Anyone use this 2.5 tune on a Viper newer than 2016? Their website shows options for 14, 15 and 16 but nothing newer. I know there was a factory change to the OEM flash in 2018 but I believe that was to address starter kickback issues and starting issues which I believe the 2.5 tune already addressed.

There has been starter kickback failures with the EVO tunes though. Your whole engine is different so it might not be a issue either way. Should work but haven’t heard if tested.Anyone use this 2.5 tune on a Viper newer than 2016? Their website shows options for 14, 15 and 16 but nothing newer. Just an FYI for anyone with a newer Viper -- If you are looking on Evo's website for an ECU flash there are only options for 2014-2016. However I spoke with Evo today and their flash will work on my 2018 so I'm assuming 2017 as well.
